Good luck in the Senior next weekend. I will be at lee kay running the NURC Derby on Saturday so I wont make it to the Hunt Test. In my opinion the Senior is about marking the Retired gun, being steady on the walk up and the Honor. The blind work is kind of like... if you get the bird you will be ok. Remember you can handle on one mark out of the 4 so try to save it for the second series if you can. Watch the Test Dog and as many other dogs as possible to help you devise a plan of attach on each series. How you approach the line can make a difference. Where you run from can make a difference... meaning if you have a line that is ten feet wide should you run from the Left, Right or Middle. Always think about your approach and stay calm. You can have a controlled break and you can talk to your dog on the honor as long as you are quiet about it and don't interfere with the running dog... Feel free to give me a call.
